Dermarollers and Dermapens
Dermarollers and Dermapens are micro-needling devices usually performed under topical anesthesia to improve scars, facial lines, wrinkles, rejuvenation, and transdermal delivery of various mesotherapy agents.
How does it work?
Skin is punctured multiple times with a specially designed instrument. We will choose the size of the needle depending on your skin concerns.
In the dermis, this micro-needling initiates a wound healing process that leads to collagen and elastic tissue regeneration and the release of several growth factors. Old scar tissue and fibrosis break and bring about an aesthetic improvement.

What to expect during the procedure?
We will apply a topical anesthetic one hour before the procedure. We will perform the process under aseptic precautions. After the procedure, it is essential to follow a strict skincare regimen prescribed by us. We may prescribe Analgesics, antibiotics, or anti-inflammatory medication as well. We advise sun protection for a week.

How many sessions will I need?
The exact number of treatments needed depends on the area being treated, the extent of damage, and skin type. On average, we recommend about four treatments, about 3-4 weeks apart, to see optimal results.
When can I expect to see results?
You can expect the best results around four months after treatment. Your skin will start looking tighter after 4-6 weeks, and collagen remodeling will continue beyond that for the next few months.
